This is an Underwood SX150, built in January of 1955 as indicated by the serial number according to the internet. Yes, this unit was still under a year old when George McFly punched out Biff in the high school parking lot. Purchased for a mere $20, and in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.

Wonky space bar has since been fixed.

For kicks, I looked up WK Davis to see if they were still in business. They’re not.

1924 model. Was my Grandfather’s. He used it in his business. I’ve had it since the 1970's. Weights about 40 pounds. You have to love the keyboard. No “haptic” touch technology here. ...and when you made a typo, you started over.
